A clay (bentonite) deposit located in the SW¼ sec. 7, T29S, R40E, MDM, 0.9 km (0.6 mile) E of Goler Heights, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. Owned by Samuel M. Mingus, Randsburg, California (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a playa lake deposit in a structural depression along the El Paso fault. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include unspecified surface openings.
