A W occurrence located at the N edge of sec. 13, T30S, R39E, MDM, about 4.2 km W of Sidney Peak (5¾ miles SW of Randsburg), on Bureau of Land MAnagement administered land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. The ore body is lenticular in form, strikes N35-70E and dips steeply NW. Discontinuous lenses and stringers of pure scheelite were found in parts of the zone. Controls for ore emplacement included a fault zone. Local structure includes a fault. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 2 (Southern and West-central California).
Workings include surface and underground openings with a length of 44.5 meters and an overall depth of 14.02 meters and comprised of a 46 foot shaft, approximately 100 feet of drifts to the E and NE at the 46 foot level.
Production is undetermined.
