A W occurrence/prospect located in sec. 22, T27S, R32E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) SE of Miracle Hot Springs and 3.6 km (2.2 miles) SW of Bodfish, along the E canyon wall of Clear Creek (W slope of Hooper Hill, S of the Kern River. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Location not confirmed. No other information is available.
Mineralization is hosted in granite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges) and/or pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.
