A former W occurrence/mine located in the NE¼NW¼, sec. 29, T30S, R36E, MDM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) ENE of White Mountain (coordinates of record), along the S canyon wall of Jawbone Canyon (6½ miles NW of Cinco). Produced in 1954. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body is irregular in form. Controls for ore emplacement included fractures. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic granitic and metamorphic rocks undivided.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a 60 foot inclined shaft, a 10 foot shaft, 30 feet of drift adit and several shallow pits.
Production data are found in: Troxel and Morton (1962).
Production statistics: Year: 1954 (period = 1954): WO3 (estimated): ^0.5%. Recovery percentage: 1 weight percent. Total production is unconfirmed (ore came from the 60 foot shaft).
