A former Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in sec. 32, T11N, R12W, SBM, 2.0 km (1.3 miles) ESE of Strandard Hill (coordinates of record), just E of Fleta along the railroad. The property is comprised of 3 claims. Owned by Goodwin J. Knight, Las Palmas, California. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Adjoins the Exposed Treasure Mine on the E.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 4 to 6 feet thick. The ore body strikes N30W and dips 60E at a thickness of 1.83 meters. Local rocks include Tertiary intrusive rocks (hypabyssal), unit 7 (Northern Mojave Desert) and/or Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 304.8 meters and an overall depth of 60.96 meters and comprised of 2 shafts with levels at 100 and 200 feet plus 1,000 feet of crosscuts and drifts.
Production amounted to 50 tons per month, which was shipped to Burton Brothers, Inc. for treatment.
