A Cu prospect located in sec. 4, T29S, R39E, MDM, about 6.6 km WNW of Garlock, W of Mormon Flat (13½ miles NE of Cantil). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in Late Permian metasedimentary rocks. The deposit is comprised of many Cu-bearing quartz stringers. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 2 (Northern Mojave Desert and Southeastern Sierra Nevada).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of many shallow excavations and short adits.
