A Cu-Pb-Au-Ag occurrence/group of claims/prospect located in the NW¼ sec. 5 & in the NE¼ sec. 6, T29S, R39E, MDM, 3.5 km (2.2 miles) SSE of Black Mountain (coordinates of record). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in argillite. The ore body is lenticular, strikes N and dips 45-60E. Controls for ore emplacement included shear zones. The Copper King vein is a shear zone at 2 to 3 feet (0.62 to 0.91 meter) wide, along bedding planes in N-striking, S5E-dipping schist. The zone contains brecciated gray quartz or quartzite in fault gouge. The Golden Imp vein is 2 to 8 inches (5 to 20 cm) wide, strikes NW in argillaceous rock. The Marty veins are weakly mineralized, narrow shear zones and bedding plane shears. The ore bodies occur as lenses. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 6 (El Paso Mountains).

Openings include underground openings. The Cu & Au veins are developed by several shafts ESE from the camp. The shafts range from a few feet to 200 feet deep. The Copper King shaft is 1,000 feet E of the camp and is about 200 feet deep on a 55NE incline and connects about 500 feet of drifts, mostly to the S. Other shallow shafts were sunk on the Golden Imp claim and short adits and shallow shafts are on the Marty claims. A crosscut adit was being driven SW to intersect the Golden Imp vein at about 50 feet depth in 1958.
