A former W occurrence/mine located in the SE¼NW¼ sec. 33, T26S, R34E, MDM, 2.9 km (1.8 miles) WNW of Nicolls Peak (coordinates of record) and 5.3 km (3.3 miles) SW of Weldon, on the N margin of the Piute Mountains. Production years were 1952, 1954 & 1955. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in metamorphic rock. The ore body is elongate in form, strikes N50W and dips steeply SW at a width of 3.05 meters and a length of 91.44 meters. The tactite body is 3 to 10 feet wide and is crudely-layered and nearly everywhere it contains closely spaced shears that trend parallel to the strike of the body. The body is bordered on the SW by coarsely crystalline, pale colored marble. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 adits. The upper drift adit extends several tens of feet S40E, along the contact of the marble and quartz monzonite, on the NE side of the pendant. The lower adit was driven 50 feet NE.

Production data are found in: Troxel, Bennie Wyatt & P.K. Morton (1962).

Several units of W concentrates were recovered from the mined rock. The earlier history was not discovered.
