A Ag occurrence/prospect located in sec. 21, T7S, R35E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) ENE of Sierra View (coordinates of record), on National Forest wilderness land (Birch Creek Roadless Area Review & Evaluation (RARE II) Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
NOTE: The USGS MRDS file presents geographic coordinates which place this locality in the Owens Valley, far to the W of the White Mountains & Birch Creek RARE II Area. Research of the coordinates for the center of sec. 7, T7S, R35E, MDM, revealed that the coordinates should be 37°21'30"N, 118°10'25"W, versus 37°19'30"N, 118°18'25"W. Other data in the MRDS file such as local rocks are based on the erroneous location based on the erroneous coordinates and are therefore not presented her.
