A former Au mine located in secs. 25 & 36, T20S, R39E, MDM, 1.7 km (1.1 miles) NE of Silver Peak (coordinates of record), on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station). Property consisted of 1 claim and 1 fractional claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 6 to 18 inches (15 to 45 cm) thick. The ore body dips 20W at a thickness of 0.46 meter). Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include unspecified underground openings comprised of a 150 foot deep shaft, a 370 foot drift to the vein from the 100 foot level, and a 25 foot drift on the 150 level.
