A former Au mine located in the N½SE¼ (estimated) sec. 10, T21S, R40E, MDM, 6.5 km (4.0 miles) ESE of Silver Peak (coordinates of record), on Coles Flat, on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station). Property consisted of 180 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
