A former Au-Ag mine located in sec. 21, T18S, R45E, MDM, 5.6 km (3.5 miles) W of Aguereberry Point (coordinates of record) and 9.0 km (5.6 miles) NNW of Wild Rose Peak (coordinates of record), on National Park Service land (Death Valley National Park). Property consisted of 4 unpatented claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters. Land unsurveyed, location projected.
Mineralization is hosted in granite. The ore body is 1.52 meters thick. Ore occurs as a series of quartz-filled fractures, most prominent a shear plane, a few inches to 5 feet thick. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley).
Workings include underground openings comprised of an 80 degree incline at 80 feet deep. There are several adits, all within a radius of 800 feet. Most ore came from 3 adits located 400 to 700 feet SW of the shaft.
