A former Pb-Cu-Ag-Au mine located in sec. 2, T19S, R45E, MDM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) N of Wildrose Peak (coordinates of record) (2 miles S of the Old Dependable Mine), on National Park Service wilderness land (Death Valley National Park/Death Valley Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Only brief mentions of other tungsten mining endeavors in Trail Canyon were found in the monument files. These included the Morning Glory Group of four claims in the South Fork of Trail Canyon, owned by Morning Glory Mines, Inc., of Albuquerque, N.M., Abram H. Kreider, president..Greene, 1981
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a 6 inch (15 cm) to 4 foot (1.21 meters) thick quartz vein, hosted in rocks of the Windrow Formation, ferruginous and clastic members (shale). The ore body is 1.22 meters thick. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley).

Production information: Small shipments of ore were made in 1935, 1939 and 1951. Average smelter recovery was about 2.39% Pb, 4.2% Cu, 29.6 ounces Ag/ton, and 0.05 ounce Au/ton.
