A former Au-Cu mine located in T21N, R4E, SBM, 7.2 km (4.5 miles) E of Jubilee Mountain (coordinates of record), S of Bradbury Wash (1 mile S of Rhodes Hill), on National Park Service wilderness land (Death Valley National Park/Death Valley Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters (sic). The UTM is estimated; section unreported; land unsurveyed; questionable location.
Mineralization is hosted in schist. The ore body strikes N30E and dips 40SE at a thickness 0.61 meters. Local alteration includes oxidation. Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a number of short tunnels 20 to 41 feet in length.
