A B-borate occurrence located in T26N, R2E, SBM, 5.2 km (3.2 miles) WNW of Travertine Point (cliff), along the Furnace Creek Wash, on National Park Service land (Death Valley National Park). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is Miocene in age and is hosted in rocks of the Miocene Death Valley Formation and/or Supai Formation (tuff, clay, mud, mudstone & sandstone). Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
