A former Au mine located in the NE¼SW¼ (estimated) sec. 10, T21S, R40E, MDM, 6.2 km (3.8 miles) ESE of Silver Peak (coordinates of record), on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station). The property consisted of 4 claims. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit, with a vein 4 feet in diameter, hosted in rhyolite. The ore body strikes N55W and dips 40NE at a thickness of 1.22 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 40 foot deep shaft.
