A W occurrence located in sec. 8, T20S, R40E, MDM, 5.9 km (3.7 miles) ENE of Coso Peak (coordinates of record) (5 miles SW of Darwin), on military reservation land (China Lake Naval Ordnance Test Station). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite and quartz diorite. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface openings comprised of shallow pits.
