A Au prospect located in sec. 15, T21S, R42E, MDM, 5.6 km (3.5 miles) ESE of Maturango Peak (coordinates of record), and 6.6 km (4.1 miles) NNE of Millspaugh, along Bendire Canyon, near the Naval Ordnance Test Station boundary, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Argus Range Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
