A former Pb-Ag-Zn-Au mine located in sec. 4, T21S, R45E, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) NW of Panamint, in the headwaters area of Woodpecker Canyon, on National Park Service wilderness land (Death Valley National Park/Death Valley Wilderness) (is/was private (patented) land). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
NOTE: Said to be located in the Darwin District; however, it is about 15 to 20 miles E in the National Park.
Local rocks include Precambrian rocks, undivided, unit 1 (Death Valley).
