A former placer Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 8, T10N, R9E, MDM, 1.1 km (0.7 mile) SSW of Mormon Hill (coordinates of record) (5 miles NW of Rescue), on private land. The productive area was 35 acres on the Wulff property. Operated by W. C. Wulff. Operated during the period 1938 to 1946. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings included small-scale surface operations.
A good profit was realized from the operations.
