A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 4, T10N, R9E, MDM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) ENE of Mormon Hill (coordinates of record), E of Wildcat Canyon, N of Mormon Ravine, S of Weber Creek and NW of the Deer Valley School (4 miles NW of Rescue; near the Boulder Mine). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 30 foot shaft and a 50 foot drift.
Production data are found in: Clark, Wm. B. & D.W. Carlson (1956).
