A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼ (estimated) sec. 32, T11N, R10E, MDM, 0.7 km (0.4 mile) SW of Gold Hill and 2.3 km (1.4 miles) NW of Cold Springs (2½ miles S of Georgetown), on private land. The claim comprises 20 acres. Operated by Albert C. Wellington and wife. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
