A former placer Au occurrence/drift mine located in sec. 20, T10N, R11E, MDM, about 2.65 km NE of Diamond Springs, on the N side of Weber Creek (2 miles SE of Placerville). The claims comprise 92 acres between Chili RAvine and Weber Creek. Operated in the 1880's and in the early 1890's. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
