A Cu occurrence/prospect located in sec. 10, T10N, R10E, MDM, 0.9 km (0.6 mile) SE of Cold Springs, on the divide between Weber Creek and Hangtown Creek, E of their confluence (on the Charles Worthington Ranch, 4 miles W of Placerville). Prospected in 1917 and 1919. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
The ore body is 0.46 meter thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 65 foot shaft.
