A former lode Au occurrence/mine located near the center of the NW¼ sec. 10, T11N, R10E, MDM, about 4 km NE of Coloma, on the W side of Big Sailor Creek (2 miles NW of Kelsey). The property is an unpatented claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. May be included in the holdings of the owners of the Swansa and Rocky Bend.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains) and/or Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
