A placer Au occurrence/claim/drift mine located in sec. 15, T10N, R12E, MDM, 3.7 km (2.3 miles) ESE of Camino and 3.9 km (2.4 miles) ENE of Newtown, on the divide between the South Fork Weber Creek and the North Fork Weber Creek, on private land. The claim comprises 40 acres. Operated by Rhyolite, Inc., C/O E. C. Connella. Operated during the period 1894 to 1896. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
