A Cr occurrence/mine located in the NW¼ sec. 6, T10N, R10E, MDM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) W of Cold Springs, N side of Weber Creek (located claim). Operated by McDonald and Buys during WWI. Operated by Nick J. Schubin, et al (timeframe unknown). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 3 shafts at 16 to 42 feet deep plus a number of stopes and one open pit.

About 350 long tons of chromite ore was reportedly shipped during WWI.

Most of the mine is flooded.
