A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the center S½ sec. 36, T9N, R10E, MDM, 2.0 km (1.2 miles) ENE of Nashville, along the W side of East Big Canyon Creek, on private land. Property consists of 4 claims totaling 77 acres. Operated by T. N. Reiman. Operated prior to 1915. Prospected in 1935, 1947 and 1952. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 400 foot shaft.
