A Cu occurrence located in sec. 26, T9N, R12E, MDM, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) SW of Coles Station and about 4 km ENE of Fair Play, along the W side of Slug Gulch (1 mile W of Cosumnes Copper Mine), on private land. Operated by Leslie Fry and Clifford Smith. Operated intermittently. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granite and metasedimentary rock. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 200 foot adit.
