A former Au occurrence/mine located in the S½ sec. 30, T9N, R13E, MDM, 2.2 km (1.4 miles) NNW of both Indian Diggings and Omo Ranch, on the N side of Middle Fork Cosumnes River (5 miles NE of Fair Play), on National Forest land. Claim comprises 20 acres. Operated in 1926. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings. The river was diverted and a 250 foot adit was worked.
