A Mo-W occurrence located in sec. 32, T10N, R13E, and in sec. 5, T9N, R13E, MDM, 1.7 km (1.1 miles) S of Happy Valley and 3 miles NW of Grizzly Flat, on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

The ore body is 9.14 meters thick. The zone is about 1 mile long, 600 feet wide and it consists of layers of garnet-epidote tactite interbedded with quartz-mica schist, quartzite and granite gneiss. Few quartz veins are present. The scheelite horizons range from 5 to 30 feet in width and several hundred feet in length. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of open cuts and one adit on the S portion of the deposit.

Production data are found in: Clark, Wm. B. & D.W. Carlson (1956).

No production, but the last owners in 1955 were concentrating small amounts of ore in a small pilot mill and stockpiling the concentrates.

Analytical data results: 1 to 2% WO3.
