A Au reported occurrence/claim/prospect located in sec. 29,T10N, R12E, MDM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) NW of Pleasant Valley, just S of Avinsino Corner (1 mile S of Newtown). Claim comprised 30 acres. Prospected in 1930. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 135 foot deep prospect shaft.
No pay was located as a result of the prospect effort.
