A former placer Au occurrence/claim/mine located in the SW¼SE¼ sec. 17 & in sec. 20, T10N, R9E, MDM, 3.6 km (2.2 miles) S of Mormon Hill (coordinates of record), E of Sweetwater Creek and WSW of Pine Hill. Property is 70 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Tailings located in the SE¼ sec. 20 on topo map.

Local rocks include Mesozoic gabbroic rocks, unit 2 (undivided).
