A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼ sec. 29, T9N, R13E, MDM, 1.0 km (0.6 mile) W of Henry Diggings (coordinates of record) and 2.5 km (1.6 miles) N of Omo Ranch, S of the confluence of Steely Fork and Clear Creek (5 miles SW of grizzly Flat), on private land. The claim is 20 acres. Operated by Martha Agnes Weber and Maryland Casualty Company. Operated prior to 1894. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate. The ore body strikes N and dips 60W at a thickness of 1.22 meters. The vein is 1 to 4 feet thick. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of 2 drift adits at 400 and 300 feet long, respectively, plus a 70 foot winze.
