A former lode Au occurrence/group of claims/mine located in the SW¼SE¼ sec. 2 & into sec. 11, T8N, R10E, MDM, 1.7 km (1.1 miles) SSE of Nashville, on the divide between the North Fork Cosumnes River and East Big Canyon Creek. Property was comprised of 5 claims covering 91.94 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Names of claims stated as being "probable."

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
