A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the N½ sec. 14, T11N, R10E, MDM, 1.1 km (0.7 mile) NW of Kelsey (just S of Gopher Hill), on private land. Property is comprised of 2 claims consisting of 34 acres. Operated by W. A. Bell, C/O W. F. I. Bell. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. These claims are separated by the Gopher-Boulder claims, secs. 11 & 14, this township, which are also held by W.A. Bell.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
