A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼SW¼ sec. 15, T11N, R10E, MDM, about 3.65 km E of Coloma and 2.7 km (1.7 miles) WNW of Kelsey, along the S side of the South Branch Dutch Creek, on private land. Operated by Wayne Huckaby. Operated around 1900. Prospected during the period 1948 to 1949. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. The ore body is 1.52 meters thick. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a shaft.
