A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the S½SW¼ sec. 34, T12N, R10E, MDM, 1.4 km (0.9 mile) SE of Garden Valley, on the divide between Little Sailor Creek and Irish Creek. Claim was comprised of 16 acres in a nearly square piece of land by agricultural patent, and adjoins the Isabel Mine on the E. Operated during the 1890's. Prospected in 1940. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in slate. The ore body strikes N10W and dips 55E at a thickness of 0.76 meter. The ore shoot is 75 feet. The value of the sulfides is not known. Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 96 foot inclined shaft and a 100 foot drift.

The ore yielded $10 to $13 (period values) Au/ton.
