A reported placer Au occurrence located in the E½ sec. 1, T12N, R11E, MDM, 0.6 km (0.4 miles) NW of Quintette, at Camp Forward, along the Georgetown Divide ditch, on National Forest land. The property was comprised of 43.44 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. This looks like a claim only. No evidence of Au placer. Not shown on Clark, Wm. B. & D.W. Carlson (1956).
Material occurs on top of slate. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
