A former Cu-Au-Ag mine located in secs. 10 & 15, T11N, R8E, MDM, 1.6 km (1.0 mile) E of Goose Flat (coordinates of record) (1 mile E of Rattlesnake Bridge), on federal land. Property was comprised of 180 acres. Operated prior to 1902. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is . Mine symbol on topo map in sec. 15, but close to the line with sec. 10. Clark, Wm. B. & D.W. Carlson (1956) shows sec. 15 only. Area was withdrawn for the federal reservoir site.
Mineralization is hosted in limestone and slate. The ore body strikes N and dips E. The hanging wall is limestone and the footwall is slate. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings with a length of 161.54 meters and comprised of a 300 foot, and 2 50 foot, shafts, plus a 100 foot and a 30 foot adit.

Analytical data results: 3 to 4% Cu with some Au & Ag.
