A former lode Au occurrence/mine located in the NW¼NE¼ sec. 12, T9N, R10E, MDM, about 2.1 km E of Logtown (site), on the E side of Martinez Creek, on private land. The Adjuster claim comprises 20.66 acres located on Martinez Creek a short distance above the Union Mine and 2 miles SW of El Dorado, on the Mother Lode. The Hustler claim, a short distance SE of the Adjuster, comprises 20.215 acres. Operated by Cecilia Simpson. Operated prior to 1914. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 250 foot crosscut adit and about 100 feet of drifts. A 10-stamp mill was erected.
