A Mn occurrence/claim/prospect located in sec. 7, T9S, R20E, SBM, 3.6 km (2.3 miles) W of Thumb Peak (coordinates of record) and 16.2 km (10.1 miles) W of Palo Verde, on the N end of the Palo Verde Mountains, N of the Chocolate Drop group. Discovered in 1943. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters (sic).

Local rocks include Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 7 (Southern Mojave Desert).

Workings include unspecified surface openings.
