A gypsum occurrence located in the E½NE¼ sec. 29, T13S, R9E, SBM, 15.6 km (9.7 miles) SSE of Ocotillo Wells (San Diego County), along the southern margin of the northern arm of the Fish Creek Mountains, on Bureau of Land Management administered land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
The ore body is blanket in form. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 2 (Peninsular Ranges).
Local geologic structures includes the NW limb of a NW-trending syncline, the axis of which is a broad valley to the W. There is minor folding.
