A gypsum occurrence located in the SW¼ sec. 28, T13S, R9E, SBM, 16.7 km (10.4 miles) SSE of Ocotillo Wells (San Diego County), along the S margin of the northern arm of the Fish Creek Mountains. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Local rocks include Miocene marine rocks.
