A reported Au occurrence located in the N½ sec. 29, T15S, R21E, SBM, 2.0 km (1.3 miles) NW of Pasadena Mountain (coordinates of record) and 2.8 km (9,300 feet) SSE of Obregon. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in quartz monzonite. The ore body strikes N50W and dips 35NE at a width of 1.52 meters. The vein walls are ill defined and have undergone quartz replacement and sericitization. The vein is intersected by a second vein at the SE end. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of 2 inclined shafts 30 feet apart a few feet into each vein. Stoping was conducted 30 feet along strike, 20 feet downdip. Shallow cuts were excavated 700 feet to the N.
