A former limestone deposit/quarry located in the SW¼ sec. 31, T15S, R9E, SBM, 7.7 km (4.8 miles) W of Carrizo Mountain (coordinates of record) and 14.9 km (9.2 miles) NW of Coyote Wells, along the southern margin of the Coyote Range. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a sedimentary deposit hosted in Late Permian metasedimentary rock. The ore body is bedded, strikes N80E and dips approximately vertical at a thickness of 9.14 meters and a length of 91.44 meters. Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include surface openings comprised of shallow cuts that were formerly equipped with track.
