A former Au-W occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 26, T14S, R20E, SBM, 7.7 km (4.8 miles) NW of Obregon (6.6 miles NE of Ogilby siding). Discovered in 1914. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

The ore body strikes N75W and dips 30-35W at a width of 10.67 meters. The deposit consists of zones parallel to foliation in granite, 20 feet apart on the horizontal, composed mostly of quartz and altered wallrock. The hanging wall in each zone has less than 1 inch (2.5 cm) of clayey gouge. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 60 foot vertical shaft with workings at 20 and 50 feet. There are 170 feet of horizontal workings on the 20 foot level. There are 140 feet of drift and 45 feet of crosscut on the 50 foot level. SW a 90 foot shaft was sunk with stoping at the bottom. 1,000 feet SE 300 feet of works of (?) an adit was driven S10E.

Production information: No more than a few hundred tons of ore were mined.
