A Mn occurrence located in sec. 21, T19N, R7W, MDM, 1.3 km (4,200 feet) N of Triplet Butte (coordinates of record), on National Forest land. Discovered in 1942. Owned by Charles and Vesta Heller. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

NOTE: Written locations show only T19S, R7W. This occurrence is shown on small scale maps in bulletin 179 and MR-23 in sec. 21; however, there is no written location in a section given and the deposit might be in sec. 22 or may be in either. Elephant Hill is in sec. 35. UTM approximate.

Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges) (Franciscan melange).
