A stone deposit/prospect located in the SE¼ sec. 35, T1N, R1E, MDM, 2.4 km (1.5 miles; 8,000 feet) ESE of Marsh Creek Springs, along the N side of Dark Canyon (5 miles SE of Clayton). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Upper Cretaceous marine rocks, unit 1 (Upper Great Valley Sequence).
Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry (now abandoned).
