A stone deposit/quarry located in the S½ sec. 34, T2N, R2W, MDM, 1.0 km (0.6 mile; 3,200 feet) SSE of Pacheco center. Operated by C. C. Slater. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Most of the rock was used for highway work. The maximum output per 8-hour workday was 800 tons. Intermittently active since 1906. Recent operations active since 1940. Active in 1958.

Local rocks include Eocene marine rocks and/or Miocene marine rocks.

Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry operation.
